Chicago Cubs Luxury Suites: A True VIP Experience at Wrigley Field
Chicago Cubs Luxury Suites: A True VIP Experience at Wrigley FieldThere is, perhaps, no baseball team that is more loved than the Chicago Cubs. As a founding member of the National League, they are one of the oldest and most prestigious teams in baseball. Competing out of the NL Central, this is one of two professional baseball clubs in Chicago. The Chicago Cubs are a very popular franchise with a long history. They have appeared in eleven World Series, winning back-to-back titles in 1907 and 1908. They were the first major league team to play in three consecutive World Series, and the first to win it twice. Finally breaking their 108 year World Series drought, the Cubs won the NL Championship Series and World Series in 2016. The Chicago Cubs are sometimes referred to as “the North Siders” because they play their home games at Wrigley Field, located on Chicago’s North Side. This historic ball park, which is nicknamed “The Friendly Confines”, has been their home since 1916. Wrigley Field is the oldest ballpark in the National League and second-oldest in the MLB (after Fenway Park). Its current seating capacity is 42,495. Wrigley Field is a historic stadium known for:
- Its ivy-covered brick outfield wall.
- The unusual wind patterns coming off of Lake Michigan.
- The iconic red marquee over the main entrance.
- The hand-turned (manual) scoreboard.
