Joining him on the list of hometown favorites is Larry Walker (a 2020 MLB Hall of Fame inductee), Troy Tulowitzki, Carlos Gonzalez, Andres Galarraga, and Vinny Castilla.
Despite success hitting the ball in the thin air of the high altitude, pitching has always been the facet of the game that seems to hold back the team. In his seventh year as manager for the Rockies, Bud Black, is eager to come to the ballpark each day and see what he can do with the current squad.
