Also, the Twins have hosted five All-Star Games including 1937 and 1956 in Washington, D.C., and 1965, 1985, and 2014 in Minnesota. Upon their move to Minneapolis, the Twins played their home games in Metropolitan Stadium from 1961 to 1981. They would move to the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome for the 1982 season and would remain there through 2009. Their inaugural game at Target Field, their current home, was played on April 12, 2010. It has been their home stadium ever since. Target Field is a popular ballpark in the historic warehouse district of downtown Minneapolis.
